We get to have so much fun as a blogger for a surf shop…!!
Saturday night, Hobie Surf Shop in Dana Point hosted a pre-party for the participants in the 16th annual Menehune Surf Contest and Junior Championships. The contest is held every year at Doheny State Beach and is presented by The Doheny Longboard Surfing Association. “The D.L.S.A. is an organization dedicated to board surfing in a clean and natural environment. In relation to that philosophy, the D.L.S.A. will act as a support group for other organizations with similar views and objectives.” So, we went to grab a hot dog and snap a few pictures of the kids signing in. Since we had so much fun just watching the check in process, we went down the next morning to watch a few heats!! And… since I am a girl who can’t resist a good slide show… I made one!!! Enjoy!
